Kibble Track: Privacy Policy

Contact: support email to be added (placeholder until Darren supplies the real address) Kibble Track ("the app") is an Android app for keeping your pets' care records: meals, medications, vaccines, vet visits, weight, a daily log, reminders, documents and contacts. This policy explains what happens to that information.

Information the app collects

None. The app has no account, no sign-in, no servers, no ads, no analytics and no crash-reporting service, and it doesn't request internet access. Everything you enter, including photos and files you attach, is stored only on your device.

When information leaves your device

Only when you choose:

• Sharing a PDF. When you share a Pet Passport, vet visit summary or care sheet, Android's share sheet sends it to the app and person you pick (for example email or text messages).
• Backup files. When you save a backup, the file goes where you choose (for example your Downloads folder or a cloud drive).
• Android backup. If Android backup is on for your phone, Android includes the app's data in your phone's backup to your own Google account, and restores it on a new phone. Google's handling of that backup is covered by Google's Privacy Policy. You can turn backup off in your phone's settings.
• Document scanning. The camera scanner is Google's on-device ML Kit document scanner, provided through Google Play services. Scanned pages are processed on your device and saved into the app.

Purchases

The optional unlock is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment details. The app stores only whether the unlock is owned, and re-checks that with Google Play.

Crash reports

We see aggregated crash and performance reports that Google Play Console provides to developers ("Android vitals"), which do not identify you.

Children

Kibble Track is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Deleting your data

Delete a pet in the app to delete its records and files, or uninstall the app to delete everything. We hold no copy, so there is nothing to request from us.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
